The braided fuel line from Cutting Edge Concepts and RC Raven are basically the same. They are very shinny and pretty right out of the package. They are standard silicone fuel line in a stainless steel braided line with heat shrink tubing on each end.

When you are installing these lines you must be careful as the braided line will pull back from the fuel tubing. I have found out that if you reheat the shrink tubing it will hold better.

The braided line performs the same as regular fuel line. With the exception that you don't have to worry about heat as much. The braided hose helps keep the heat from the silicone fuel line.

Durability is the same as regular silicone fuel line with the exception of the braided line will bunch up and the braids will loosen if it is rubbed or pushed. So don't roll your truck with the body off.

To sum up the braided fuel line is a great eye catcher. Works great for a show truck and adds that little extra touch to any truck. But if you intend to use your truck, stick with regular silicone fuel line. It is more functional and a lot cheaper.
