Wheel Hex Fix
|
This is a great fix for a T-maxx that likes to eat wheel bearings. Below are some
pictures and an explanation of why Aluminum Wheel Hexe's are so important
and how they extend the life of the wheel bearings. |

![]() This picture tells a lot about what has been happening to the steering knuckle. Notice the wear behind the stock plastic hex. This happens when the plastic hex flexeswhen cornering at high speeds or when landing a jump bad or directly on one wheel. |

Remove the hexes and examine them. If they are anything like the ones shown in these pictures then they are shot. Notice the small cracks and gouges worn into the backside of the hex. When the hexes are worn this badly they will compress into the face of the wheel bearing tearing the dirt shield away. This is the direct cause of premature wheel bearing Failure. Time for an upgrade... |

Install the new units just like the originals. Now go out bash and
have fun! Your bearings will last a lot longer and you will
have more runtime instead of downtime wrenchin on your
truck just to replace another blown wheel bearing.
